As an active member of the Multi-Chamber Sustainability Committee, Green Building Consulting & Engineering co-organized the event and organized the Sustainability in the hospitality industry track, the Sustainable Value Chain track  and the Green tech and smart buildings track.

 

As a speaker in the Sustainability in the hospitality industry track, Armelle Le Bihan demonstrated how hotels can integrate step by step sustainability within their facilities, covering engineering, operations to corporate policies. To support this roadmap, she was joined by Technic Electrical Engineering on energy saving in air conditioning solutions  and Soneva Kiri, leader in Barefoot luxury.

This event organized by the IFC brought together experts to discuss green building and financing strategies for Mongolia. Armelle Le Bihan presented the AHURP Sustainability Roadmap, showcasing ambitious KPIs for carbon emission reduction, energy efficiency, and air quality improvement. The project aims to create a high-performance eco-district in Ulaanbaatar, aligning with Green Climate Fund requirements and international green building standards.

Workshop | Phuket 2019

PHIST

The workshop covered expert topics on sustainable design and construction practices in hospitality. The attendees were divided in groups where they were asked to come with innovative ideas to improve the sustainability profile of a fictional project. We discussed notably self sufficiency, energy, zero waste, environmental preservation and community responsibility.

UNESCAP 9th Regional Workshop - The Urban Nexus

The workshop gathered representatives from municipal and national levels of government, academia, training institutes, private sector from China, India, Indonesia, Mongolia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The objective was to share best practices and experiences on how the urban nexus approach contributes to the achievement of the 
2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and developing  recommendations  for  advancing  the 
nexus approach into national policy frameworks.

As a private consultancy firm, we were able to share our perspective on the current green building landscape in Thailand and our recommendations for public policy to increase their market share.
